As a trusted client for many years we would like to remind you of The Royal Welsh Agricultural Society’s – more popularly known as the Royal Welsh Spring Festival – fabulous two-day event on May 21st -22nd.

With the already incredible success, drawing up to 25,000 people to the Royal Welsh showground at Llanelwedd, Buith Wells, it’s no wonder it is firm family favourite. With the sunshine on its way there’s no excuse not to make the most of this fun-filled extravaganza.

Carol Evans, The Royal Welsh Agricultural Society’s Assistant Company Secretary said “The Festival has an individuality of its own and with its increased scope it has universal appeal to the whole of Wales, the border countries and beyond.”

The attraction of the Spring Festival is that it not only boasts some important topical issues such as sustainable living, and protecting and appreciating the environment, but also The Festival is alive with exciting and entertaining activities for people of all ages. Some of the delights include folk dance festival, farriery competitions, llamas and alpacas, a vintage machinery display, Farmers Markets in Wales and beekeeping displays by the Welsh Beekeepers Association.

This year’s event is the eleventh to be run by the RWAS and will have a more extensive and varied programme than ever. With more than 300 agricultural and craft stands demonstrating and selling just about anything a smallholder or gardener might need, an annual favourite of rare breed livestock displays, workshops, talks and question and answer sessions on smallholding, horticulture, environmental and countryside matters, roadshows covering gardening and property, a premier open dog show with over 1000 entries, a qualifier for Crufts, there is an endless amount of amusement available. Plus for the first time the event will also feature a traditional, rare and native cattle breed’s competition to be judged by Adam Henson.

The event is bursting with activities and is hopeful to be the best Royal Welsh Spring Festival yet. So as the sun has graced us with its presence, The Spring Festival is the perfect place to make the most of the natural wonderments the countryside has to offer.
