Marlene Thomas from Brackla, Bridgend, has won a local prize draw with Motaquote Insurance. Having been a loyal customer of Motaquote Insurance since 2003, Mrs Thomas was thrilled when she was informed she had won the prize which consisted of a bottle of Veuve Cliquot champagne and a set of travellers glasses to accompany the bottle.

Motaquote, one of South Wales’ largest independent insurance providers, ran the competition to celebrate its move to Bridgend’s main shopping centre, The Rhiw in March 2011. Any customer who entered the premises was included in a prize draw and the winner was recently announced.

The company chose to relocate as part of an expansion scheme. Motaquote’s new position in the heart of Bridgend’s town centre means the company is more accessible to both its existing and new customers. Alongside the prize draw, Motaquote  also offered a 10% discount on insurance products to celebrate the move.

Mrs Thomas, the winner of Motaquote’s prize draw, said:

Having never won anything in my life, I was over the moon when I found out I had won the prize draw. I have been a customer of Motaquote for nearly 9 years now and have definitely benefited from Motaquote’s friendly staff and excellent service.”

Keith Williams,  Branch Manager of Bridgend Motaquote, commented:

We ran the competition because we really wanted to give something back to our customers. Consequently, when we were informed Mrs Thomas had won the champagne, we were thrilled for her. It is loyal customers like Marlene who have enabled us to make the move to The Rhiw Shopping Centre and we would like to offer our congratulations once again and thank Mrs Thomas for her continued support of to the company.”
